What has changed
CalMac marks the Mallaig–Lochboisdale route as disrupted and has published an amended timetable for Saturday 18 July 2026 because of low tides. Listed departures are Mallaig at 10:00 and 18:05, and Lochboisdale at 06:00 and 14:05.
What you should do
Check CalMac’s live status and booking messages before driving the A830 to Mallaig, especially when travelling with a campervan or motorhome.
