Old Man of Storr

About

The managed walking route from the A855 climbs toward the Old Man of Storr, a prominent rock pinnacle within the Trotternish landslip. Most visitors follow the constructed lower path and viewpoint route rather than continuing onto the more demanding Storr summit. The site has a substantial official car park, toilets and visitor facilities, but it remains exceptionally busy. Allow time for a steady uphill walk and check conditions before committing to higher or exposed ground.
