Oban Distillery

About

Oban Distillery is one of Scotland’s oldest working distilleries and sits unusually in the centre of the town that grew around it. Visitor experiences explore the small urban production site and its coastal Highland single malt, with a visitor centre, bar and shop alongside bookable tours and tastings.

Campervan practical note

The distillery has no dedicated visitor parking. Use a suitable public car park in Oban and allow extra time to walk to your booked tour, especially in summer.

Local support & visitor value

Adds a locally rooted whisky-production experience to an Oban visit and encourages travellers to spend time in the town centre rather than only using it as a ferry gateway.

Parking notes

There is no visitor car park at the distillery. Use a legal public car park where the campervan fits safely and walk to Stafford Street; allow extra time during busy summer periods.

Responsible travel

Do not circulate narrow central streets looking for an informal space beside the distillery. Park once in a suitable town car park and walk to the attraction.

Please use designated parking, avoid blocking roads or passing places, respect local communities, and check current conditions before travelling.
