About
Dunollie combines the ruins of a medieval clan castle with the 1745 House Museum, woodland grounds and views across Oban Bay. The site tells the story of the MacDougalls and the wider area through collections, historic buildings and outdoor interpretation, and most visitors should allow enough time for both the museum and the climb to the castle.

Campervan practical note
There is a visitor car park, but Dunollie asks vehicles larger than a minivan to contact them in advance because larger spaces are limited. Corran Halls car park is a practical alternative followed by a 10–15 minute walk.
