Eilean Donan Castle

About

A restored island castle at the meeting of three sea lochs near Dornie, reached by a stone bridge from a formal visitor complex. Interior rooms present the castle's history and collections, while the shore and bridge provide the familiar exterior views. Tickets are purchased on site on the day rather than booked online. The attraction has visitor parking, food outlets and toilets, but it becomes very busy and should not be treated as an overnight stop.
