Overview
Glen Lochy is an official Forestry and Land Scotland Stay the Night location on the A85 between Tyndrum and Dalmally. It has six spaces for self-contained campervans and motorhomes and operates on a first-come, first-served basis. FLS states that access is directly from a busy, fast-moving A-road and asks overnight visitors to use the bottom parking area furthest from the entrance. The current £13 Stay the Night fee includes chemical-waste disposal at a nearby designated FLS point.

Responsible stay notes
Enter and leave the A85 carefully, use the bottom overnight parking area and leave at least 4m between vehicles. The Strone Hill chemical-disposal point is currently closed, so use Bridge of Orchy and check FLS alerts before travelling.
Local rules
Stay for one night only between 18:00 and 10:00 and do not return within 48 hours. Spaces cannot be reserved and payment is made on arrival through RingGo. Vehicles must be self-contained. No fires, barbecues or generators.
Nearby food & shops
The nearest toilets and places to eat are in Dalmally and Tyndrum. Chemical-waste disposal is currently available at Bridge of Orchy while Strone Hill's point is closed.
